PTFE lined pipe is a hard, chemically inert pipe and equipment coating for protection against chemical corrosion and high temperatures. It possesses excellent chemical resistance and hence is ideal for handling aggressive chemicals like acids, bases and solvents. PTFE-lined pipes can withstand up to 260°C (500°F) temperatures and consist of a smooth, anti-stick surface for improved flow efficiency. Constructed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin, often reinforced with stainless steel, PTFE lining ensures long-term durability and dependability in corrosive environments.
